Our People

Our people are independent professionals with a wide breadth and depth of skills. We come together in the appropriate combination as dictated by the needs of the project. The success of our teamwork and informal partnerships is rooted in our shared values and ethics.

Our Mission

Our mission is to enhance the effectiveness of people within their organizations by providing them with the appropriate tools, training, and coaching.

Our Approach

SynLynk applies a systems perspective. We help our clients see both the forest and the trees. That means that we keep the big picture in mind as we focus on implementing solutions at different levels within the organization, or within various departments.

We offer a complimentary Preliminary Needs Analysis to our new clients that helps us get to know you and you get to know us. We provide up to eight hours of consulting with your organization, at no charge, to begin to assess your unique needs. You receive a customized report summarizing our findings and recommendations, as well as a preliminary proposal.

Our Beliefs

We have our ideals…
We believe all training and learning initiatives should be linked to organizational goals and strategies. And we believe that to make effective decisions about current or future training needs, up to date information from multiple sources must be considered. Therefore we advocate rigorous data collection from multiple perspectives through interviews, focus groups, and surveys, followed by thorough analysis of results.

Then we develop the most appropriate learning solutions for the target audience by applying sound instructional design principles, creative learning elements, and expert writing skills. We recommend the most sensible delivery mode for the situation - be it online, classroom, on-the-job, self-paced activities, or some combination of multiple delivery modes.

But we are also practical…
Although we may start with an ideal framework, we apply practical considerations to client recommendations such as the general principles of Pareto's 80/20 Rule. This means we identify a small number of critical issues, components, solutions, options, etc., which if addressed, will produce the greatest results. Of course, budget parameters are always a key consideration!
