Lyn | Christine | Dianne | Leslie | Liz | Maureen | The President and founder of SynLynk in 2000, Lyn has been consulting in the field of training and development since 1990. She has focused her efforts on helping people be more effective in their organization by defining the fundamental learning strategies that align personal and professional development of people with the company's short and long term business goals. Prior to establishing SynLynk, Lyn was a consultant, project manager, researcher and program designer and developer for International Learning Systems, ARC International and Granite Technologies. With these consulting companies, Lyn managed complex consulting projects and diverse teams, ensured client satisfaction, designed and implemented staff and leadership development processes, provided development coaching, reengineered internal processes, and designed research and assessment tools. She was part of several large-scale organizational change projects, helping clients implement new processes and programs to facilitate change efforts. A passionate believer in the power of teamwork, and a skilled communicator, Lyn is able to successfully engage employees in the processes that support their personal and professional development. She is also an experienced researcher and writer with great analytical skills and can synthesize large amounts of information into succinct models, reports, training, and presentations. Lyn is adept at assessing organizational learning needs, analyzing training programs for effectiveness, and developing detailed job-specific competency profiles. Lyn received her MBA from the University of Colorado in Denver and her MS in Biochemistry/Zoology from the University of Western Ontario in Canada. Liz has been an independent communications consultant since 1996. She applies her expert writing, editing and design skills to developing user documentation, marketing communications, proposals, and training materials for clients in a variety of industries. Prior to her consulting work, Liz was a technical writer for Bell Labs and AT&T/Lucent Technologies and second vice president at Chase Manhattan Bank. Liz's key expertise is in the area of technical communication. She works extremely well with technical professionals and can translate complex concepts and ideas into proposals, training, marketing materials, and documents of all kinds for a broad range of audiences. When Liz is not working with clients, she is writing novels. She has also published short stories and feature articles in magazines, newspapers, and trade journals. Though experienced in various areas of employee development programs, her passion lies in creating learning strategies that shorten the learning curve and provide long-lasting retention. Dianne believes that the greatest learning impact comes from balancing training content with fun. Her creativity in designing memorable learning activities and simulations is a testament to her commitment to generating enduring learning experiences. Dianne is also a firm believer in synergy, making her a great partner for LynSynk and our clients. Working together, generating ideas as a team, and having fun while doing it, is what creates meaningful working and training experiences. Prior to LynSynk, Dianne worked for Arthur Anderson & Co. in their corporate training department and for International Learning Systems, Inc., where she was a curriculum designer, writer, and project manager. Although a very able developer of technical training, her heart belongs to teamwork, leadership and communications training. Dianne received her Masters in Training and Learning Technologies from the University of New Mexico. Christine, an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist with over 11 years consulting exerience, has helped organizations face business challenges and achieve critical objectives by defining, measuring, and developing the capabilities to enhance organizational performance. She has a great reputance for building and maintaining collaborative, high-involvement client relationships. Her work has focused on ensuring that the right talent is in place to meet emerging business needs and drive organizational change. She has consulted with client organizations in the areas of organizational analysis and needs assessment, job/task analysis, competency assessment and profiling, training design, development and evaluation, performance measurement and assessment, outcome and business impact evaluation, benchmarking, competitor analysis, and adoption of best practices, and process improvement. Christine's consulting experience spans a variety of industries, including telecommunications, computers, education, pharmaceuticals, home protection, facilities management, retail, utilities, food, and financial services. Livingston received her MA in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the University of Colorado. Leslie Brandow Leslie has 8 years of experience in visual design strategy, multimedia and project management. Her talent and experience in multimedia and web development brings creative ideas to designing web sites that are functional, well organized and visually appealing. Using Macromedia's Flash, Fireworks and Dreamweaver, she loves combining her artistic style along with logic to develop client solutions. Leslie's ability to ask the right questions to really understand a client's functional needs makes her an indispensible partner both for clients and the other SynLynk writers and training design professionals. Her experience includes television commercial production, print media design for magazines, newspapers, and Denver's largest modeling/acting agency. Leslie is also a partner in her own company. Maureen has over 20 years of management and professional experience in a variety of fortune 500 business positions including corporate training and development, employee relations, auditing, and accounting. Maureen also owned a small retail business for over 4 years. Since 1995, Maureen has been consulting using her unique and varied background to help companies restructure processes and systems, assess organizational development needs, and address employee relations issues, with a focus on business and financial results. Maureen has developed a wide range of client solutions including employee surveys, leadership curricula, online courses, and comprehensive interactive simulations in the areas of financial analysis and leadership development. Maureen earned a BS in accounting from Miami University in Ohio, and attended the MBA program at the University of Houston.
